Why I Built Nüdaura
I didn’t start this because I had a dream of leggings.
I started this because I wanted to spend more time with my dogs. Because the 9–5 grind doesn’t give me that. And it definitely doesn’t give my dad the retirement he deserves.
He’s 67. He’s still working. And honestly? That sucks. He gave everything. My mom’s gone now, and I want to see him actually live — not fade into some watered-down version of retirement he never really had a chance to plan for. I want to give him that.
Somewhere in between those thoughts — and maybe watching What Women Want a few too many times — this idea bubbled up. Leggings. Branding. Movement. Mel Gibson in tights, running ad copy. Sure, it started as a joke. But then I saw the margins… and I felt something spark.
At first, I thought I was building a brand. But what I really needed was a way out — and a way through. Something I could build from the ground up, something I could wear, live in, move through the world in. Something that could grow into a blessing for more than just me.
Nüdaura started as dropshipping. But the truth is, it’s becoming something more — a place to explore new kinds of clothing for people who just want to feel good in their body. I’m not here to hype. I’m here to build something I can stand on. And offer it to others, if it fits them too.
So this isn’t about leggings anymore.
It’s about life. And comfort. And finding your own rhythm — even if the world doesn’t get it yet.
With my blessing,
— Amefuri no Kehai
